NZ Grass-Fed Cosmetic-Grade Beef Tallow
The foundation of every jar. We use cosmetic-grade tallow - a premium form sourced from 100% grass-fed New Zealand cattle. Unlike food-grade tallow used by many other brands, cosmetic-grade tallow is made to skincare standards and without the beefy smell.
Cocoa Butter
A natural emollient that creates a protective barrier on the skin while delivering deep moisture. Rich in antioxidants and fatty acids, cocoa butter helps improve skin elasticity and provides the rich, creamy base that makes our whipped texture
possible.
Jojoba Oil
The closest plant-based match to human sebum. Jojoba balances oil production, softens skin, and helps the other ingredients absorb evenly. It’s non-comedogenic, meaning it won’t clog pores - making it safe for use on the face.
Kawakawa
A native New Zealand plant used in traditional Māori rongoā (medicine) for centuries. Kawakawa has natural anti-inflammatory and soothing properties, making it exceptional for calming irritated, inflamed, or damaged skin. This is an
ingredient unique to New Zealand - and unique to Talova in the tallow balm
category.
Lavender Essential Oil (Lavender variant)
Pure lavender essential oil, known for its calming and anti-inflammatory properties. Helps soothe sensitive and reactive skin while providing a gentle, relaxing scent. Our most popular variant for people with eczema and skin sensitivity.
Ylang Ylang Essential Oil (Ylang Ylang variant)
